Moving to a New Location!

For the past two weeks, our focus has been on preparing our new office space, which is located in Cocoa Village, Florida. We have decided to take our home based business a step further and go into a retail space. We have been building walls, painting and prepping to get our space ready to go.

We are very proud of our business and the service that we provide. This will allow us to take it up a notch and offer in person service to those that are local. We will also be offering the same excellent service over the phone. Our office hours will be Monday through Friday, from 9:00am - 5:00pm EST, Saturday from 10:00am - 2:00pm EST and other hours by appointment. Our telephone hours will remain 24 hours a day.

Once we are more settled, you will see more regular postings from us about destinations, cruise lines, or anything that you request!

We look forward to assiting you with your dream vacation!

What Vacations Do You Want To Know About?

I have been blogging for a bit now, telling some stories, talking about certain deals, discussing locations, talking about the benefits of using a travel agent and so on. I would love some feedback from my readers. What do you think? What would you like to read about? Are there any destinations that you are interested in and would like to know more about? I really would like to hear from you. Let's start an active discussion. I will answer everything I can, and do extensive research on things I might not be able to answer with certainty.

Feel free to post a comment, or send me an email at kfreer@cruiseone.com. I am open to suggestions, and looking for things to discuss on my upcoming blogs.

Thank you for participating!

Feed Your Inner Foodie With A Menu Of Tempting Events

Enjoy cooking? Always wanted to meet up with a professional chef? Well, here is your opportunity! And, to do it while on a vacation on board the beautiful Celebrity Eclipse … that makes it even better! Here is what will be happening:

Adding flavor to an already robust onboard experience are new special interest cruises, a part of the Celebrity Life Savor series, geared to those with a fine appreciation of food and wine. A renowned guest chef or wine maker will be invited aboard select cruises to celebrate all we love about good food and wine. There's no better place to showcase all this talent other than aboard the award-winning Celebrity ships with their already outstanding food and drink experience.

Feed Your Inner Foodie With A Menu Of Tempting Events.

Each "Savor Your Destination" culinary cruise offers a series of experiences to engage your taste buds and your mind.

• Meet and chat with the guest chef during a cocktail hour and have your photo taken together.
• Watch a chef-led cooking demonstration highlighting techniques and ingredients in the ship's theatre.
• Book signings, for those chefs with published books.
• Watch-or be selected to participate in-the "Star Chefs" competition cook-off. Guests are selected from the audience, then guided by the ship's own top chef to compete in a cook-off judged by a panel of fellow guests.
• Take part in a hands-on cooking class led by the chef in the ship's galley and receive a special recipe booklet featuring the chef's own creations.
• Exclusive food-and-wine-pairing dinner in the Murano Restaurant, designed and presented by the chef. Leave with a special booklet of the chef's recipes.

I have some group space on the Celebrity Eclipse, sailing December 10, 2010, doing a 7 night Eastern Caribbean itinerary, visiting San Juan, St. Thomas and St. Maarten. The Guest Chef is still to be announced.

Interested in this sailing, or perhaps any other dates that might be available? Give us a call! CruiseOne Freer & Associates 888-882-5793 or visit us on the web at www.kfreer.cruiseone.com.

Our Trip on the Celebrity Eclipse

Well, it is back to reality for us. We have returned from our 7 night cruise on board the incredibly beautiful Celebrity Eclipse. We were on board for a Seminar at Sea, which was given by Celebrity. But even with our "class time" there was enough time for us to enjoy the ship and the three ports of call while sailing the Eastern Caribbean itinerary, which visited San Juan, Puerto Rico, St. Maarten and St. Kitts.

This is the second time I have been on this ship. The first was during a two night inaugural sailing with travel agents only, which I have to say didn't give me the true feeling of the ship. This time, we were on an actual cruise with passengers. We were able to see and experience the activities of the ship that are offered, as well as some that were not.

I seem to say that I love every cruise I am on; however, this one left me with an even better love! The ship is absolutely beautiful. It is a really classy ship. The design is wonderful, very neutral. The passengers were lovely. The food was very good, and in some cases outstanding. The entertainment was non-stop. No, you won't find a rock climbing wall, or a zip line. But you will find enriching programs such as dance lessons, the opportunity to learn different languages, computer courses, wine tastings and pairings, fabulous shows and so on.

We did have quite a bit of learning time, but aside from regular classroom stuff, we had the opportunity to do a bridge tour, which is amazing. We also did a tour of the operations room, which was even more amazing. To see endless computer monitors watching everything on the ship and keep it running, wow. We did a galley tour, which is always fun. And I also got to participate in the Celebrity Chef Cook Off. That meant I was on stage with a couple of chefs during a competition. It was a great experience! We learned a lot about Celebrity Cruises, both from the "selling" side, but also from the operations side. For example, the Celebrity Eclipse is a green ship. They have their own water desalinization equipment on board, which enables them to put completely clean water back into the ocean.

It was a fabulous trip. I am sad to be back home. I am already looking at my next trip with them, which hopefully will allow me to cross an item off my bucket list! I see that they have wonderful Mediterranean itineraries and I really want to see Venice, Italy and Santorini, Greece. I think next year I will be there!
