Cruise Sales and Promotions

There are so many promotions currently from different cruise lines … if you have been thinking of booking your next cruise vacation, now is the time to do it!


From my perspective as a travel agent, it does appear the cruise lines are not quite filling the ships to capacity. Some have lowered rates a bit, and others are offering enticing promotions. Some are even doing both.

Here are some examples of what is going on now:

Carnival Cruise Lines is offering reduced deposits and up to $100 cash back on select 6 night or longer sailings booked August 16 – 18, 2012. Holiday sailings 6 nights or longer have up to $200 cash back.

Celebrity Cruises has an exclusive sale with CruiseOne. Book a balcony and above stateroom from August 15 – 19, 2012, for any sailing September 15 – December 31, 2012 and receive $100 on board credit.

Costa Cruises has some 7 night Mediterranean sailings from $37 per day and up to $300 cash back. Plus, kids sail free. Bookings must be made by August 31, 2012. (Kids sail free through November 24, 2012).

Norwegian Cruise Lines is running the “Boss is Back” promotion from August 15 – 19, 2012. This promo has up to $200 on board credit for Norwegian Epic and Pride of America sailings. (A side note … I LOVE the Epic! She is an amazing ship, going on her again in November with the family).

Royal Caribbean is offering $100 on board credit for Oasis of the Seas and Allure of the Seas for bookings made August 15 – September 15, 2012. Also running an on board credit promo for Mariner of the Seas and Navigator of the Seas (amount depends on stateroom type booked).
